Under 35s Ski Holidays 2024-2025

A fantastic chance to go skiing with other people Under 35, while enjoying all that the Alps has to offer. In the cosiness of an alpine chalet, revel in the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Talk to those who share your interests and explore the pistes alone or in a group. The best part: No single supplements!

Whether you're travelling alone or with a small group, you have come to the right place. Welcome to The Ski Gathering — a social event for skiers and snowboarders of all levels and a singles' getaway for those Under 35. Meet new people with similar interests on a skiing trip for people Under 35. Our ski holidays are suitable for both absolute novices and regular red run cruisers.

Less fuss, more fun!

On our Under 35s Ski Holidays, we do things the simple way. Enjoy a continental breakfast in the morning, a two-course evening meal, and skip the usual afternoon tea for a well deserved après-ski.

A typical day on our Under 35s Ski Holiday

No single supplement. What does that mean?

The single-occupancy supplement is generally the biggest headache for individual skiers travelling alone. Usually, solos have to pay a premium for the empty bed, making ski holidays unaffordable for most singles and solo skiers. With The Ski Gathering, you'll be sharing a room so there is no single supplement. Sharing a triple or quad room, you pay slightly less than those sharing a twin.

Literally the best ski trip everHad literally the best ski trip ever with the Ski Gathering in Les Gets. The Chalet was stunning, comfy rooms + bathrooms, and the sauna and Hot Tub were definitely thoroughly enjoyed during our stay! The chalet girls were amazing, Amy, Hannah, Harriet and Emma thanks so much for making it such a smooth and enjoyable stay, your friendliness and attention to detail didn't go unnoticed, nor did your facial expression when we asked if everyone could have pancakes for breakfast at a few hours notice haha! (they were amazing though!). Belinda was obviously born for this role, she was a hilarious but extremely organised host from the moment she stepped into our chalet on our first evening. Even though it is not part of the package, Belinda offered to take us out skiing to the best parts of the resort on 3 of our ski days (which obviously were the best days!). She knew the best runs, cafe stops, restaurants and even a stream for one of our groups to take a dip in mid run. We had a mix of ages in our group, but honestly it made it that much more fun! The chalet had a bunch of entertainment options which lead to some questionable table football tournaments, phone Jenga, some late night poker games and a game of trivial pursuit from 1992 (which only the older members could successfully play). I was so nervous about having booked this type of holiday, but with our amazing hosts and such an great group I literally haven't had a ski holiday like it before, so thanks so much to Belinda, all the Chalet girls who put up with us and the Ski Gathering for making it such a memorable trip!

Incredibly liberating!Fun 5 day with like minded souls sharing delicious breakfasts, teas (omi, the cakes...) and dinners in this linked group of apartments in Les Gets. The chalet staff were adorable and patient with us constantly being in their way and asking questions. Belinda (The Pirate Queen) was a wonderful rep and organised us into skiing groups of equal ability without offending any of us and nothing was too much trouble for her. Booking restaurants, taxis, taking us on adventures to Switzerland. She has boundless energy. The town is gorgeous - not too big but has everything you need. I heartily recommend to anyone wanting a ski trip on their own - incredibly liberating! x

I had a lovely timeA fabulous company, organisation from start to finish was top notch, there was an exceptional resort manager, Belinda who was so amazing, knowledge and helpful, making our experience as hassle free and ensuring we made the most of our stay and as fun as possible. The food at the chalet and staff there were brilliant. The only thing I didn't like was that 14 people were staying for 5 nights and 4 of us were staying for 7 nights. It meant that when the new guests arrived they were at the start of their holiday, but we were near the end, we didn't have time to really get to know them as we were soon leaving so it felt disjointed and it didn't enable me to feel part of the group anymore. Overall I had a lovely time and there were opportunities to have some great ski days as well as relaxing in the hot tub !!!!

A marvellous holidayAccommodation 'snug' - otherwise fine. Food - outstanding. Chalet girls - brilliant. Location - good for the lift BUT too far from centre to enjoy apres immediately after skiing. Belinda - 'fountain of knowledge' without which the collective chalet guests may of floundered! Pool/hot tub/sauna - great. BUT! being whilst I can afford such a wonderful ski holiday I am retired and as such I am obliged to 'look after my pennies!' For this reason I feel The Ski Gathering have let me down on the not ensuring that keeping costs are advantageous to the client and NOT SG. ie:- Without'digging' up comparables over this week it materialised that:- Average SG transfer was about 130 Euros. Whilst mine (Easy bus) was about 60! Suggested SG private lesson about 175. Whilst ESF private lesson was 120! SG also suggested that restaurants, taxis, general ski lessons, massages, etc. which I feel may also need to be reevaluated! So-I repeat a marvellous holiday but SG have in my humble opinion a responsibility to ensure their guests receive 'best-value'!!

I'm looking forward to going again. My friend Nikki and I had a wonderful skiing holiday in Les Gets, hosted by Belinda, Amy, Hannah and Emma of The Ski Gathering. The resort has wonderful slopes, the weather was excellent in March and we were very well looked after. Excellent food and Belinda enthusiastically took care of all our requirements, I would highly recommend this holiday, it was my second visit and I'm looking forward to going again.

Highly recommend it.Across the road from the Perrieres chairlift, a 10 min walk to the centre of les gets, this chalet has a good location. Made up of separate apartments with one large central dining area. The rooms are perfectly adequate, clean and well decorated, good hot water but perhaps the beds could be more substantial but nothing I haven't had in plenty of other French chalets. Had a south facing balcony which was lovely. Infra-red sauna, indoor pool and hot tub very welcome. The staff were very good and the food way above standard chalet fare, locally sourced meat and other ingredients. Belinda takes care of anything you do outside the chalet so for us the ski hire, sorting ski groups, and any other information through a WhatsApp group and coming in to the chalet. This is certainly a very good chalet.

We have years of combined expertise, offering world-class ski breaks. We can appreciate that going on your first solo ski holiday, when you're Under 35, can be a little intimidating, especially if you're doing it as a solo skier. You won't be alone at The Ski Gathering, as you'll be interacting with other amazing people who share your interests - and are Under 35.

For party-goers and avid skiers alike?

Typically, younger skiers will look for a mix of good skiing and downtime. You're free to pick your own ratio — hit the slopes all day and chill into the wee small hours at the local bar. Or, take in the après ski atmosphere all day, and let the skiing wait till tomorrow, it's all up to you.

What is Après-Ski

Beside being a popular and lively bar on the Front de Neige in Les Gets, après-ski is a concept on its own! Literally the French term for "after skiing", this is the time to celebrate a day on the slopes after your last run. Hit the bars as soon as the lifts stop, or anytime after lunch really, the choice is yours!

Skiing in March or April?

Skiing in March, you'll find fewer families around, and less of those snaking trails of beginners on the slopes. Skiing in April, you'll experience the party-vibe that spring brings to the resort's centre (when après-ski tends to start earlier). It's warm, it's sunny, and it's very relaxed. Plus, we often get a big dump of snow in late March, and we've had some of our best skiing then! So don't forget your sunscreen when you hit the slopes, head for a walk, or spend a long lazy lunch on the sun-bathed terrace of a mountain restaurant!
