This was a five star holidayI fractured my tibia on the first day, could not immediately fly, so I was chalet bound quite a bit. Belinda was fantastic, taking me to the infirmary, getting my medicines and generally translating for me. Whilst at the chalet, Eva and Ava were so helpful. The food was delicious and the group (I was the oldest by a long stretch) were all super nice and most of the group got on very well. The chalet is well furnished and well located- you can leave your skis and boots at the hire shop and walk there and back no problem. This is my 3rd ski gathering, the previous two being in Morzine, and they have all been great in there own way, so much so that I will look for next year when the list comes out. I did think of giving a one star review, just so I would have a better chance of booking, but that would be wrong and unfair. 4 of the group were quite badly injured and all of the return arrangements were brilliantly dealt with by The Ski Gathering, including revised transfers etc. I am often sceptical of 5 star reviews, but this was a five star holiday, despite the fracture.

A lovely bunch of peopleWell, just four weeks since my February visit to The Ski Gathering - Les Gets, and I find myself back again! Both weeks I was thoroughly spoiled by Belinda and the chalet girls and had a great time. Once again, the chalet and food were excellent and the guests were a lovely bunch of people who enjoyed skiing together and filling the chalet with laughter. Hopefully make it back next year!

Incredibly liberating!Fun 5 day with like minded souls sharing delicious breakfasts, teas (omi, the cakes...) and dinners in this linked group of apartments in Les Gets. The chalet staff were adorable and patient with us constantly being in their way and asking questions. Belinda (The Pirate Queen) was a wonderful rep and organised us into skiing groups of equal ability without offending any of us and nothing was too much trouble for her. Booking restaurants, taxis, taking us on adventures to Switzerland. She has boundless energy. The town is gorgeous - not too big but has everything you need. I heartily recommend to anyone wanting a ski trip on their own - incredibly liberating! x

A marvellous holidayAccommodation 'snug' - otherwise fine. Food - outstanding. Chalet girls - brilliant. Location - good for the lift BUT too far from centre to enjoy apres immediately after skiing. Belinda - 'fountain of knowledge' without which the collective chalet guests may of floundered! Pool/hot tub/sauna - great. BUT! being whilst I can afford such a wonderful ski holiday I am retired and as such I am obliged to 'look after my pennies!' For this reason I feel The Ski Gathering have let me down on the not ensuring that keeping costs are advantageous to the client and NOT SG. ie:- Without'digging' up comparables over this week it materialised that:- Average SG transfer was about 130 Euros. Whilst mine (Easy bus) was about 60! Suggested SG private lesson about 175. Whilst ESF private lesson was 120! SG also suggested that restaurants, taxis, general ski lessons, massages, etc. which I feel may also need to be reevaluated! So-I repeat a marvellous holiday but SG have in my humble opinion a responsibility to ensure their guests receive 'best-value'!!

Everything exceeded my expectations.First time skiing solo, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The resort, the people — everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were fantastic, the food was above average, and for one of the more budget-friendly options, it was incredible value. Made some great friends along the way, and I'll definitely be back.

Highly recommend and will be back again!Great solo travel trip with The Ski Gathering/Host Savoie, it's a brilliant concept for solos/couples/small groups who can't fill a whole chalet. The week we were in was the budget week, so no afternoon tea (which I would have liked to have seen included), but the food was good in the evenings and at breakfast. Everything you need in a chalet in Morzine plus the bus stop just outside. Highly recommend and will be back again!

I cannot rate it enough! This year Feb 2025 was my 3rd time ever doing a solo trip with The Ski Gathering. I cannot rate it enough! The locations are great, but for me, the option of them sorting out ABSOLUTELY everything (minus booking of flights), is why I'll keep using them as a ski holiday provider. The chalets are lovely, the meals provided are great, the ease of contacting (and response) is second to none. Pricing is super competitive also. Definitely looking forward to booking for ski seasons to come :-)
