A mini bus to take us to the different areas too! And what a bonus a swimming pool - thanks so much - I couldn't have asked for a better trip.

Clean, spacious and warmHotel de Bois may not be right by the slopes but Jean-Marc's free shuttle drop-off and collection makes it as if it is. The food is way above standard hotel fare and rightly has non-residents coming in to eat there. The rooms are clean, spacious and warm. Came in a group with The Ski gathering as a solo skier, this was the third year running, which should tell you how happy I am with the whole package they offer!

Beautiful town and viewsWe stayed in Les Suite D'Alpe at the end of the season and managed to get in plenty of skiing! The chalet was comfy and the staff did an amazing job with the food and banter. This chalet was a little out of town and the lower slope was closed, but we were helped with transport to the wider ski area whenever we wanted. Beautiful town and views. We will be back in summer. Thanks in particular to Belinda, Emma, Georgia and Charlotte xx

Highly recommend The Ski GatheringHighly recommend The Ski Gathering to any solos wanting a bit of company on a ski or snowboarding trip! Brilliant valuePhenomenal ! Rooms: Room was comfortable, clean and always warm. Accommodation more than adequate and hosts were knowledgable, friendly and could not do enough for you. Will visit again asap! Nearby activities: Ski lift accessible close by, beginner friendly slopes within close reach and routes to wider Portes du Soleil area possible although snow dependent. Alpine roller coaster and zip line for the adrenaline junkie nearby as well as an ice rink and merry go round for kids out front. Lots of shops and one of the finest spas I've ever visited within 10 mins walk. Divine choice of location. Food & drinks: Very impressed by the quality and preparation of home cooked food ! If you're used to good food you'll be well served here. Restaurant quality cuisine in a cosy group dining setting at the chalet. Brilliant value. All inclusive beer and wine.

just do it!Fun! Undeniably one of the best ski vacations for me. Coming to Les Gets was a hike for me, but well worth it. Kind Belinda was a joy! While the snow was a little iffy, we made the best of it. If you are thinking of vacationing in Les Gets, just do it! Thanks for a great time! If you know, you know! In all seriousness, Belinda and the staff at the Les Suites de l'Alpe were superb! Emma, Jed, Georgia and Ava thank you so much for all of your hard work! Definitely recommended for solo skiersMarch 2023: In past years we have filled a chalet with friends, but since our last trip in 2020 nothing has been organised, so at the very last minute myself and a couple of friends decided to try The Ski Gathering. It was a great holiday! In many ways it was more fun being with a bunch of random people of different ages, from different countries and backgrounds. Everyone got on well, due to Belinda's exceptional people skills, and, I guess, because people who are up for this sort of holiday are by nature open to meeting new people and are easy to get along with. We had a lot of laughs and some interesting conversations, which to my mind is what a holiday is all about. We kept 'bumping into' Belinda on the slopes and she would show us all the best places to go. She even hired a minibus to take us to different parts of the mountains (the snow was a bit thin when we went). Belinda loves skiing and loves people. She worked really hard to make sure everyone had a good time. Daisy and Grace, the chalet staff, looked after us very well, and we were all super impressed with the food. Would I go again? Absolutely yes! March 2024: I did go again! This time in a larger chalet for 18 and without bringing any friends with me. Great experience! Went for the official ski guiding option which was expensive but the tips from the guides added value. Definitely recommended for solo skiers who want to be sociable.

I'll do this again for sureMar 24: 2nd review as I went again to the same place 2 weeks ago. That must say something about what I thought of it. The place was as before - this time I was in a triple room which i found better than the double I had last time. Emma, Jed, Georgia and Ava looked after the chalet and the meals and along with the central kitchen team did a great job of feeding everyone and making 18 strangers feel really welcome. Everyone got on - not all the same ski levels and of course you engage with some more people than others, but lots of good times and laughs. And the there's Belinda. As well as being an amazing ski guide and the Director of banter, she organsied us when we needed it and made the whole experience a lot of fun. Therapy is going fine btw Belinda :) When we arrived on Sunday the snow was poor and there looked to be more brown than white. But Belinda found plenty of skiing for us. I know a number of peopel have booked to go again in '25 (including me) Jan '24: First time for me doing a solo ski holiday and sharing a room with a stranger. I was in an over 50's week and instantly met 17 people who wanted to ski and socialise. By half way through the week I'd learned all the names There were mixed ski abilities but there was always a group of friendly people to ski with. Belinda organised us when needed, gave us plenty of info and acted as an unofficial ski guide early on in the week, which was great. I was in a twin room which was fairly cramped. Very limited storage. The chalet is modern and warm with good facilities. Ski lockers right there and many people made use of the jacuzzi, sauna and pool daily. Nearest ski lift is max 200m and others available by regular ski buses. The chalet team of Emma, Belu, Ava and Kiki looked after us well and served great food, cooked in the main by the central kitchen team (smart idea that !) of Candice, Emma, Katie and Kerry. Fully recommend!Nice little group of rooms in a quiet part of Les Gets. At the back of some shops so no noise from the road. Ski hire from one of those shops. Equipment was good (I Had expert skis). Whole holiday brilliantly organised by Belinda and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Food was superb. Also had a small infra-red sauna (3 people) a hot tub big enough for 6 and a small pool - a little cold but OK if you kept moving. Unfortunately snow was poor but again, Belinda arranged transport and took us to better areas so overall, had a good week skiing. In good snow conditions - even the immediate area would be great - the regional pass would have been absolutely superb. I had my own room so not at all cheap but if you're willing to share - it would be really good value. Fully recommend! Rooms: Rooms varied - many seemed awkwardly shaped or were built under the eaves. Also, there didn't seem to be much storage. However, the bed had a memoryfoam mattress, so a great nights sleep, they were nicely decorated and I had a brilliant towel rail so able to dry clothes easily overnight. Communal areas very well equipped. Walkability: The Perrieres lift is just accross the road. Town centre is about 20 min walk uphill but that is a nice distance to build up a pre dinner appetite - otherwise, simply get the free ski bus!

I plan to use Ski Gather againIt was my first solo ski trip and the first time using Ski Gathering. I couldn't have asked for more. The chalet was clean and cosy and conveniently situated near the ski lift. It allowed me to hit the slopes early in the morning without any hassle. The kitchen served superb meals every day - dinner was a culinary adventure. Let's not forget the wine and beers – they flowed freely, adding to the social atmosphere. The chalet staff were excellent, ensuring our stay was memorable. Belinda deserves a special mention. She showed us around the slopes and arranged all our transportation to and from the chalet. The minor downside is the rooms were small, with little storage. The single beds were small and uncomfortable. However, this did not affect my overall experience and I plan to use Ski Gather again.

a blast from start to finishJust returned from Les Gets after a fantastic guided ski week with The Ski Gathering. It was a blast from start to finish. Belinda, the host was so knowledgeable, helpful, fun and accommodating from start to finish. Marc and Fafa the guides from ESF were just awesome. They got us out for the best possible skiing available each and every day. The other guests were wonderful and we all happened to ski at a similar level. The food was delicious and the Chalet crew (Ashleigh, Emma, Jed, Victoria) were super. I can't recommend this trip highly enough. I will be back!

so convenientWent to Les Gets with Ski Gathering 3-7 March, staying at Les Suite De L'Alpe, was a terrific trip. The chalet is really great: modern, freely decorated, lots of space. My rooms was lovely, nice linen/towels inc a robe! There's a handy boot/ski locker downstairs, and the hot tub/sauna was VERY welcome at the end of a hard day on the hill. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely chalet hosts: Jed, Emma, Harriet, Amy who catered for our annoying dietary requirements with no fuss, and the best part of the holiday was probably Belinda the rep, who is a machine: beautifully organising our rag-tag crew with no fuss: we all had a terrific time. I would go back. The ski area is amazing, and the chalet is directly above the ski-hire shop, and directly opposite the chair lift.. so convenient

Belinda was an absolute superstarLovely week with the Ski Gathering team in Les Gets. Our main 'guide' rep Belinda was an absolute superstar. I loved her bossy ways, marvellous. Emma and her team worked so hard to look after us all week. We were a pretty rowdy bunch but they always served us with a smile. The food was excellent and the alcohol free flowing. Fab week, I highly recommend coming here.Rooms: Rooms were small but average for what you get in a French ski chalet. I would have liked a normal sized sink rather than a tiny basin under a bathroom cabinet. You had to shove your head under the cabinet to wash your face. Water went everywhere. Not ideal. Mind you, I have never had a decent bathroom in a ski chalet. This was my only grumble for the week.Walkability: 15 mins walk up to the village. Or buses were pretty frequent.

can't recommend it enough!I've just returned from a long weekend ski break with Ski Gathering in Les Gets and can't recommend it enough! Belinda, Emma, Amy, and Jed were friendly and super-organized. The chalet is beautiful, in a great location, and the food was excellent. The little spa with hot tub was a real treat at the end of the ski day. I met some lovely people and will definitely be booking with Ski Gathering again :)

Absolutely amazing! 10/10The Chalet was AMAZING! The food was INCREDIBLE! Both Kevins are fantastic hosts and chefs! The Chalet is lovely and clean, plenty of room for us all. The hot tub and sauna are exactly what you need after a day of skiing. The slopes are so close. I will 100% be booking at this Chalet again or any of the Chalets that Ski Gathering host. The service is a 10/10. Thank you for making my week even more enjoyable.

I had a fabulous holidayI had a fabulous holiday with The Ski Gathering in Les Gets. The chalet was in a perfect location within walking distance to the slopes and easy access to the town center. Rooms were small and cozy but there was plenty of space in the common areas to lounge and enjoy a wine or beer from the stocked fridges. What really stood out was the hospitality and seamless handling of logistics both leading up to and during the trip. Belinda took such good care of our group by showing us the mountain on the first few days to help everyone get oriented, and then organizing taxis later in the week to other parts of the Portes du Soleil ski area. Emma and the rest of the chalet team were fantastic as well, treating us with delicious breakfasts and dinners. And Jana, Ashleigh, and Zoé were incredibly responsive and helpful with pre-trip questions. Highly recommended overall!

I've made some great friendsJust back from a solo 50's week at Chalet Des Pistes in Les Gets. I travelled with a friend. What a fantastic week. The chalet is right in the middle of the town and perfect for the chairlift and bars and restaurants. The ski hire shop is right below. Chalet Manager Belinda is worth her weight in gold. She saw us every day. Organised everything for us from start to finish. Made us laugh all week with her sense of humour and generally just made everything run like clockwork. Tash looked after us. She was lovely, always happy and helpful and made lovely omelettes for breakfast. Don’t worry about differing ski abilities as Belinda organises ski days with other skiers from the neighbouring Ski Gathering chalet so you don’t feel out of your comfort zone. For this trip Belinda organised nights out, transfers to Ardent (Access to Avoriaz & Switzerland), coffee stops, lift passes, ski hire, private lessons, routes, and pick ups when stranded in Morzine (me!) I've made some great friends and I’ll definitely return to this chalet with this company.

I'd definitely recommendWe had a fantastic holiday with The Ski Gathering. The location is superb. It is right at the transfer stop from Geneva Airport, there is a supermarket right there, the ski rental shop is in the same building. The skiing lift is 3 mins away, from where you can cover most of Les Gets. After a day of skiing it was nice it enjoy the sauna, the pool and the hot tab. The members of staff we superb. We were provided everything we needed and more. The dinners were delicious, restaurant quality food, and a fridge full of all sorts of drinks, including a selection of alcohol. Belinda was super helpful and prompt, no matter what you ask or need, you get it sorted within minutes. I'd definitely recommend to come here If you want to be taken a good care of, and enjoy your skiing.

I would 100% recommendI would 100% recommend a skiing holiday with The Ski Gathering, Les Gets. Belinda, Emma, Belen, Amy and the team made the skiing week feel like luxury! The accommodation had plenty of social areas to lounge in, the food was delicious and plentiful, the team were happy to help with any requests and Belinda helped the group gel through day one introductions and taking time to show us the slopes so we could orientate ourselves and get to know the rest of the guests better. I will also say that the information on the run up to the holiday from Jana, Ashleigh and Zoé was excellent, they were always quick to reply and super helpful with booking equipment, transfers and lift passes. Thank you so much to the whole Ski Gathering team for making this an amazing experience.

we would certainly recommendWe had an excellent week at Ski Gatherings. The review would have been 4 stars if it was based on the rooms and facilities. But what made it a 5-star experience was the team, led by Belinda. I could not rate more highly the effort, investment of time and passion the team made to make our week as fulfilling as possible. The young team made sure the accommodation was clean, well organised, and we were well fed.(Thank you Emma, Belen, Amy, Jed and Harriet!) Rooms we a bit of a disappointment. Ours in particular was small and dark, even with the lights on. The location is pretty good. It is a 15 minute walk into the main town, but 2 mins from bus stop and 5 mins to the nearest lifts. But the real star was Belinda, who unexpectedly spent much of the week accompanying us on the slopes. The snow on several days was fairly sketchy. But Belinda was able to show us the best places to go and arrange and couple of days taxis to different parts of the resort that were more snow sure. She also took care of sorting ski passes, booking restaurants and even sorting emergency rescue when a few of us ended up skiing to the wrong pick up point at the end of ski day! So we would certainly recommend Ski Gathering Lets Get!

Faultless!My wife and I have stayed in Les Gets a number of times but this was our first time staying in a Mountain and Tradition chalet. We were accompanied by one of our families with their two children (all on their first ski trip) plus a friend and his son. Everything that M&T stated on their web site and did for us before and during our stay, was outstanding. Great service and superb food, together with wine, lager and a few extra drinks. Our hosts, Tasha and Georgie were brilliant and totally professional. Rooms: Rooms as described - very low ceilings in parts. The lighting in a couple of the bathrooms could be better. Lounge and kitchen great although a rethink of lounge seating would be worth considering.The only real downside are the three flights of stairs to climb, and with luggage that was a bit of a puff. Nearby activities: Ski lifts just 1 minute walk up the road Food & drinks: Every breakfast outstanding! Every afternoon sandwich and cake outstanding!We had two nights to find our own food, but the rest was top quality restaurant food. They also did meals for the two children at an earlier time. Faultless!

The staff were very friendlyOver 50s stay in February. My first solo ski holiday went rather well. Met some fab new people and they certainly made the week an interesting time. My thanks to all these new peeps for making my week fab. The facilities in the chalet were decent. Some of the beds were on the small size. Three foot wide instead of three and a half. The shared bathrooms were showers only but there was plenty of hot water and they were of an adequate size. The shared toilets were too small. Dining room was nice and could seat about 20 people. The food was rather good and better than other similar priced chalet ski holidays. The staff were very friendly, helpful and served us cooked breakfast and dinner every day. The real star of this ski vacation was the host and ski guide, Belinda. She was very friendly and has a brilliant sense of humour. Made me laugh out loud each day. Fab! Excellent ski guide too. Belinda is a real asset to the company and they should be grateful to have her. I know we all were. Thank you, Belinda.

I'll be backMy first try at an over 50s solo ski trip and all I can say is, 'I'll be back'. All concerns regarding the holiday disappeared at Geneva airport when I bumped into some other people on the same holiday, and the laughter started. Didn't stop all week, helped along by the wonderful chalet staff Jana, Ashleigh, Zoe, Jed, and Belinda, plus others in the background I didn't get to meet. They all work so hard but with joy to make our week with them special, going way over and beyond what I would ever expect. I feel inspired to have met such a fine bunch of people and so happy that I have found a way to carry on skiing in company.

A terrific 4-night breakA terrific 4-night break. The chalet was really well appointed, with lots of areas to relax and several fridges of beer and wine. The food was first-class, and the chalet team were excellent and looked after us extremely well. Belinda was extremely knowledgeable and had answers to all our daft questions. The concierge service was comprehensive and very much appreciated - thank you, Belinda. My only constructive feedback is that I'd have preferred locks on the bedroom doors.

I had a wonderful week at Les GetsI had a wonderful week at Les Gets. The position of the chalet was excellent with a bus stop right outside the chalet to the main railway at Cluses as well as another stop a few metres away serving local buses and a bus to Morzine. The chairlift was very close too. The chalet was very comfortable with great common areas including a swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub. The chalet staff were superb. Meals were excellent. Belinda went overboard to make our stay one of the most enjoyable ski trips I have had. She organized the purchase of ski passes, ordered taxis for more difficult journeys, and was willing to show us all the resort's pistes and recommended restaurants. She was very sensitive to everyone's needs and quickly dealt with problems that arose. I thoroughly recommend a skiing trip in this chalet,

Totally recommendTotally recommend the Ski Gathering at Les Gets. Belinda is a fantastic host and brilliant for accompanying around the slopes. Emma and the Team at Chalet d'Alpes also do a fantastic job and the breakfasts, afternoon cakes, and 3-course dinners provided are delicious! The Chalet also has lots of lovely lounges for relaxing after a hard day's skiing. The Chalet is a stone's throw from the free Les Gets bus to the main Chevannes ski lifts, or a few minutes walk to the Perrieres lifts. A great group at the Chalet too and would happily return for another great week with the Ski Gathering.

I want to come backI just got back from a Ski Gathering holiday in Les Gets and can't say enough good things about it. The facilities were modern and new; and I loved the eco-friendliness. The people supporting our solo skier group were amazing. Belinda was fantastic - she quickly helped the group bond, she is funny as all get-out, made everyone feel special and valued, and encouraged all levels of skier in a supportive way. The food was very very good, the wine and beer plentiful, as was the coffee and tea. Emma, Eva, Belen and Jed in the chalet elevated our experience with 5 star service. Thanks to all! I want to come back ;-)

I hope to be backI have just returned from my 1st over 50s singles holiday, it was amazing, just so much fun. I arrived with a certain amount of trepidation, sharing a chalet with 17 strangers and sharing a room with someone you have never met, my neighbours thought I was mad. And when I saw the size of the bedroom I was even more worried. However I need not of worried at all, with the help of Belinda, Emma and their team we all soon relaxed and got to know each other and have lots of fun and laughs. By the end of the week we were all great buddies and thinking what we could do next year. Belinda (we nicknamed her the duracell bunny because she has so much energy) saw that we got our ski legs by showing us round the mountains (and restaurants). She got our lift passes, set up a chalet What's App Group, helped with the skis, bought the drinks at the bar, booked the restaurant for the night off, organising taxis etc The rest of the chalet team are great, they really want to help and make your stay as good as it can be. The food is fantastic, helped by too much wine and beer. Other than the bedrooms, (they are very small) the chalet is perfect, the swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub are great. The ski shop and lovely little Sherpa shop beneath the chalet, the slopes just across the road as was the bus stop if you wanted to go further afield. I hope to be back

As perfect as last year!This is the second year I've stayed in Les Gets with Th Ski Gathering and it was just as perfect as last year! Belinda is incredible, she is so knowledgeable and can organise pretty much anything! Harriet was brilliant! She was so helpful and had amazing food ready for us in the evening and morning. The first year I stayed in Les Suites de l'Alpes and this year I stayed in Chalet Negritelles. The first one is very nice and I loved having access to a swimming pool, sauna and hot tubs! Chalet Negritelles is still really nice and the location is perfect but I did miss having access to a hot tub but there's a spa close by which made up for it! (I would definitely recommend it and hopefully can go again next year!)

Absolutely fantastic tripAbsolutely fantastic trip with Ski Gathering and the Host Savoie team in Morzine! Arrangements were easy with the ski pass and ski hire brought directly to the chalet and bus to the ski lift at the end of the chalet driveway. The team also arranged transfers to the airport. It was the most straightforward ski trip I've ever booked! The chalet was spacious, food was great (including catering for gluten free) and the sauna wonderful at the end of each day out skiing. The other guests were lovely - we all got on so well and skied together each day. Both the Host Savoie team and the rest of the guests made my birthday during the holiday so special. This was such an excellent and fun trip - I would thoroughly recommend!

An awesome tripAn awesome trip from start to finish. From the moment I contacted The Ski Gathering, the level of service was excellent. Communication, organisation and value for money were all first class. Big thanks to Claire. The location of the chalet provides easy access to both the gorgeous town of Morzine and the quality skiing in Avoriaz. Regular bus service every 15 mins was super easy to use. The group I stayed with were brilliant, chalet clean and tidy and things like having your lift pass ready, ski and boot hire brought to the chalet and transfers organised were all super easy. For me, one of the biggest highlights were the two chalet hosts (Tim and Kath). They really did make it a week to remember with excellent cooking from Kath, Tim had an unlimited knowledge of all you need to know in the resort and they were always there to help with anything needed. I am looking forward to a return trip later this season.

I would absolutely recommend Ski GatheringMy first solos holiday and my first time skiing on the Beginners week. Belinda went out of her way to make sure I could learn at my pace and found an instructor who understood how to get me moving on the slopes - without Belinda's support I would not have progressed at anything like the rate I did so a huge shout out for Belinda. The group in the chalet were all so supportive, and great fun. The food was great, and the team , particularly Emma, went out of their way to make sure we all had a great holiday. The hot tub and sauna were a bonus. I would absolutely recommend Ski Gathering - the arrangements from start to finish were immaculate and not a single hitch. Rooms: I booked a private room with private bathroom. It was very clean, with sufficient storage. There was some road noise in the early hours (snow ploughs I think clearing the roads) but closing the shutters helped keep the noise out and overall I found the room very comfortable and would be keen to book this again on a return visit. Walkability: The chalet is close to the bus stops which take you into the centre of Les Gets (complimentary bus service) and further afield if you want to explore more ( very reasonable charge). The centre of Les Gets (approx 15/20 mins) is an easy walk if you are feeling more energetic. There are slopes close by that are within walking distance. Food & drinks: The food was really good quality, and there was plenty of it. The cakes in the afternoon were amazing. Breakfast was varied and cooked to order for those who wanted something hot .

Don't hesitate when bookingExcellent stay at Negritelles with Mountain & Tradition/The Ski Gathering. Belinda and the team looked after us very well, sorting all aspects as you would expect. The location is perfect few minutes walk from grocery store, ski lift and bars. Not that you need to go to bars as wine an beer is all included which is an amazing added bonus. Next the chalet host HARRIET IS AN ABSOLUTE BLESSING Nothing was ever to much for her she went above and beyond for all of us. Hope she got a new pair of salopettes after her long week with us, will be returning next year based on Harriet alone as she made our evenings making sure we had the best dinner an made sure our wine glasses never ran empty. I will be back!I joined an over 50s group in les gets for the first time. We had a fabulous time. Everyone had come on their own. Some were single, others had partners not able to ski this year. Belinda sorted everything out seamlessly for us and was patient with the endless messages . The chalet hosts Emma, Belen, Kiki and Amy kept us very well fed and watered and the chalet clean and tidy. We skied in different groups each day depending on what people wanted to do . Many of us met for a pre dinner de brief in the hot tub most evenings. I will be back!

hopefully repeat in the future!An excellent week skiing with a group of very likable, sociable and accommodating over 50's. With a wide range of ski abilities there was always a group to join which made the time on the slopes as enjoyable as the time spent together in the chalet. As with many ski chalets the rooms were a little cramped, particularly the bathroom but were clean and served their purpose. The Ski Gathering team were excellent. Belinda did a great job of orchestrating proceedings during the week whilst Emma, Belu, Ava and Kiki always ensured we had all we needed in the way of food and beverages. The food quality was some of the best I have had on a ski holiday so thanks to the central kitchen staff of Candice, Emma, Katie and Kerry for creating some amazing dishes. A very good week which I will hopefully repeat in the future!

deserves to be on Bake OffThe Ski Gathering is a fantastic way to get out on the slopes and ski with new people. If you need a ski-buddy (because you're having to travel solo), this is where to find one! The chalets bring together small groups of like minded individuals. Company for the slopes, company for apres ski and lively dinner companions. My week in Suites de l'Alpes in Les Gets (January 7th-14th) was amazing! Plenty of space to socialise, whether in the hot tub, the sauna or the lounge. Thanks to the chalet team of Emma, Belen, Kiki and Amy we were very well fed. At least one of them deserves to be on Bake Off - a Paul Hollywood handshake would surely follow! Our host Belinda made sure everything ran smoothly, from an intro to the slopes on day 1 and a couple of side trips to other resorts during the week. This was my second visit and I will definitely be back for a third.

Brilliant visitBrilliant visit, my first with Ski Gathering, but I hope not my last. On Solo holiday for over 50's (My family do not ski) and this was also main reason others were on trip. The Ski Gathering Rep/Organiser was exceptionally Good - Belinda, one of best ever experienced in over 45 years of skiing trips, caring, organised, really helpful, and guided us several days showing us the area etc. Nothing seemed to much trouble for her. The Staff in the Chalet, were also excellent Emma, Ava, Belen, & Ami (hope I get spellings right) all helpful & nice. I had a food allergy as well as a food preference, and each and every meal (and even after ski cakes/snacks) fully took these into account with dishes adapted or changed as needed - also I was never made to feel that I or the changes were a problem - Excellent. Because of the combined efforts of Belinda, Emma & Team (that includes the behind the scenes people in office/kitchens) the whole trip was a great success with everyone really getting on well together. Thank you Rooms: Small (typical French to ski areas) but nicely fitted, comfortable with everything you might need. Nearby activities: Ski Holiday, but also Toboggan track opposite. Walkability: Less than 5 minutes to Chair lift that connects to rest of ski system and possible to ski back to base in good conditions. Bus stop also less than 5 minutes away, where free bus for all 4 local circuits (all to centre) call at as well as other buses. I walked to centre as only 10-15 minutes. Food & drinks: Nicely presented often local food, ample portions. As mentioned above great that my special diet fully catered for. Noteworthy details: Really nice to have own Spa, small Sauna (3 person) and a nice but small Swimming Pool

As a group of complete randoms but all with a love for the pistes and having fun, our chalet provided great energy and happiness. Harriet our chalet host was wonderful, friendly and attentive. Clearly passionate about her work with relaxed civility. She made our stay that much better. The chalet is close to everything! If you haven't been to Les Gets (Porte du Soleil) there is so much to explore with plenty for all abilities. There are plenty of bars/pubs and a spa (€33 for 1hr) if you fancied a chill after a day carving up the slopes! It ticked all my boxes for a ski holiday!

I'll do this again for sureFirst time for me doing a solo ski holiday and sharing a room with a stranger. I was in an over 50's week and instantly met 17 people who wanted to ski and socialise. By half way through the week I'd learned all the names There were mixed ski abilities but there was always a group of friendly people to ski with. Belinda organised us when needed, gave us plenty of info and acted as an unofficial ski guide early on in the week, which was great. I was in a twin room which was fairly cramped. Very limited storage. The chalet is modern and warm with good facilities. Ski lockers right there and many people made use of the jacuzzi, sauna and pool daily. Nearest ski lift is max 200m and others available by regular ski buses. The chalet team of Emma, Belu, Ava and Kiki looked after us well and served great food, cooked in the main by the central kitchen team (smart idea that !) of Candice, Emma, Katie and Kerry. Thanks all - I'll do this again for sure

The format for the holiday has been very well thought through to accommodate solo travellers and was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Most members of the group were of a similar age (30s-40s) but all were very friendly and had the same aim of going skiing and enjoying each-other's company. A special thanks to Belinda who continually went out of her way to ensure that everyone was offered the opportunity to ski (or snowboard) with people of similar abilities and no-one was left on their own. I cannot recommend Ski Gathering highly enough and I will certainly be using them again.

a lovely holiday at Ski GatheringI had such a lovely holiday at Ski Gathering in Les Gets. Chalet Les Suites de l'Alpe is quite comfortable (except for the size of rooms, but it might be the norm in the area, I don't know) and has everything you might need, including sauna, hot tub, small pool and plenty of common areas. However, the biggest gem was the staff, Belan, Izzy, Emma and Harriet, who made our stay welcome and super smooth. Belinda, who was our 'guide' in organising activities, deserves a separate mention. I didn't have to worry about airport transfers, ski passes, lessons or even restaurant booking! Thanks to all those wonderful ladies a chalet of people who never met each other before became a friendly and warm crowd and now stays in touch with each other. I would recommend it to others and would stay again once an opportunity arises.

Best week EVER!Best week EVER! The staff were amazing, sorted us out with anything we needed. Evening dinner in particular was superb. Location was fab as the lift across the road takes you right onto the main slopes of the resort. When snow is thin on the ground, typically a local bus from the centre is then needed (or 20min walk) back to the chalet. The rooms were fairly small (but I did choose to stay in a shared room). It would've been better if the rooms had more storage space and cleaned more regularly. The swimming pool and inside jacuzzi could have been warmer too. However those minor points are the only things I can really mark this place down on. Totally recommend, and will be coming back! Thanks Belinda and team!

You won't regret itThis was my first 'Solo' trip and first ski trip in 9 years so I was quite nervous. As it was, I had no reason to be. Everybody I encountered was completely delightful. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient and the other guests were great fun and inclusive. A remarkable camaraderie was established very quickly. The meals were excellent and varied and, a special mention for the cakes....delicious! The skiing was varied and the larger group naturally broke into abilities quickly. Very comfortable chaletVery comfortable chalet with fabulous service provided by Emma, Harriet and Belan who saw that all dietary requests for catered for, including my preference for crispy bacon. Excellent food. Belinda our host was superb. In fact in all my years travelling this team was the best I have encountered. What I liked in particular about the whole set up was being able to do your own thing and nip in and out of the social aspect. Highly recommended.

I had a great weekI had a great week with Belinda and the team over New Year. Absolutely no ask was too much for any of the team! The food and drink was very tasty and plentiful. Afternoon tea was just the ticket after a tough day on the slopes. Although small, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Public areas are tastefully decorated allowing you to feel at home away from home. The Suites des L'Alpes is located close to the Perrieres chair which had there been more snow in the week we were there would have been perfect for skiing back to the chalet.

I had an amazing timeThis was my first solo ski gathering so I didn't know what to expect, but I had an amazing time. Can't remember the last time I had so much fun. Everything from airport transfers to organising ski pass, lessons etc was perfectly organised. I honestly cannot fault anything with the service. Belinda in particular is such an amazing person. ... best Christmas possibleMost amazing curated holiday I could have asked for. We had a wonderful group of hostesses: Belinda, Emma, Harriet and Belinn and they all were so helpful and made sure we all enjoyed our time. The administration was extremely efficient and hassle free - my transfer, the hire of ski gear, ski pass and lessons were all arranged for me. Another great bunch of solo skiersHad my 2nd Ski Gathering solos holiday in Les gets just before Christmas. As with last year it did not disappoint! Another great bunch of solo skiers of mixed backgrounds and abilities joined together for great skiing, conversation, and fun. The chalet team of Emma, Harriet and Belan supported by manager Belinda looked after our every need on and off the slope! The back-office team made sure airport transfers; ski hire etc ran smoothly. I will definitely be backI just spent an 'Over 50's' week in Les Suites de l'Alpe and it was brilliant, walking distance (ca 150m) from the Perrieres chair. I was the only over 50's guest but the service from the chalet girls and host was impeccable. The food was amazing too and they are more than happy to accommodate any type of meal. The host made a special effort to give advice and help on where to ski and where to eat on the mountains. Wetzet chalet was a big hit! I will definitely be back.

Thanks again to everyone at Ski Gathering!I booked a late deal in April for a short 3 day ski break in Avoriaz and was extremely impressed with the level of service and friendliness given by everyone within the Ski Gathering group. We were so lucky with the snow conditions, being so late in the season and so lucky with our hosts Tim and Cath. Cath had been a cookery teacher in the past and it did show with all the lovely food she and Tim made for us. Our team leader was Tatiana who was also extremely friendly, she went over and above to make sure our trip was memorable. Travelling alone can seem daunting at first, but I can honestly say, you don't feel alone at all when you're there. Thanks again to everyone at Ski Gathering! You never know, I might be lucky enough to visit you all again sometime. Fingers crossed!!

I would definitely go againThoroughly enjoyed my week. My first time as a 'solo' skier (in a very long time) it was a great experience meeting great people. The benefits are great, having everything arranged for you, a group of friends to eat with, drink with and ski with. The accommodation was relatively basic but it was very nice. The hosts in the chalet were very accommodating, friendly and well qualified in hosting. Belinda our rep was excellent and had us organised within an inch of our holiday lives. Everyone in our group noted that it was such a relaxing holiday with nothing to worry about only having a great time skiing. I would definitely go again with Ski Gathering.

What a fantastic placeWhat a fantastic place that was! Les Suites de l'Alpe is a cosy chalat with hot tubs, a swimming pool and a sauna. We were looked after very well by a team of Belinda, Immy and Rachel with plenty of drinks and excellent dinner. They are knowledgable, friendly and hospitable bunch who cater for any age/gender/ability travellers and the resort is ideal for solos with a lot of options. went beyond what was reasonably expectedAdmin 10/10 Belinda, as organiser, looked after us very well, I felt she went beyond what was reasonably expected to help with anything that cropped up, organising lifts to get back from Avoriaz quickly, and ski guided us some of the time the official ski guides had days off. She even took an interest in helping when I lost my credit card. Food 10/10 the food was superb, the team were very happy to accommodate our various fads, preferences and allergies. Having stated before the holiday a couple of types of food I didn't really want, I got an email suggesting I might prefer this instead of that for a couple of meals so before I arrived I felt that they were going to be very accommodating and flexible. The Chalet staff (Rachel, Freya and Immy) were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Guests 10/10 I like the size of group (12) as although with one exception at the start none of us knew anyone else, it was easy to get to know everyone, and I felt I gelled very well with all the others, both in personality and ski ability; I was happy to ski with anyone in the group. Accommodation (Les Suites de l'Alpe - Mt Blanc - Les Gets) 10/10 location/amenities/services - 300m / 4 minute walk to the chair lift and bottom of ski slope, ski hire shop and good sized supermarket in the same building, as well as sauna, hot tubs and swimming pool. 8/10 rooms - bedrooms were rather on the small size and had almost no cupboard space, we had to live out of our cases all week. Ski Area: 10/10 despite dubious weather (hot days and cold days, sun, snow, and rain on the lower slopes on one day, the snow conditions held up well all week even though it was mid March. Ski Guiding Marc and Alexia are a lovely couple, guiding us for 4 of the days. I wasn't wanting lessons and Alexia (whom I was mostly with) was excellent in just saying a few little hints on ski technique every now and then, and I definitely learnt some tips over the week without feeling time had been taken up in 'lesson' mode. It was well worth going round with someone who knew the mountain.

Belinda was an extremely dedicated and entertaining host who took us to and showed us some brilliant places to ski and managed the groups well accordingly to ability. The food and free drink was phenomenal and Imie and Rachael could not have been more efficient or nicer to have around looking after our needs. Might have been an over 50s holiday but there was not one in the group who most nights managed to act like they were 18 again. Already looking forward to seeing next years programme and rebooking.

altogether brilliant!At 69 I felt my skiing days were over ( my friends all said they were too old to learn to ski) then I discovered Ski Gathering! I had the most wonderful time in my chalet for over 50s and I shall be there every year as long as I am fit enough to ski. Belinda is amazing! She looks after a lot of people yet she gets to know and cares for everyone as an individual. Our chalet was warm and comfortable with lots of space for partying and the food was excellent. Rachel and Immy were always there with a smile inspite of all the mess we left for them to clear up. They were flexible with our meal times and never complained when some of us returned late for our chosen meal time. They were friendly, welcoming and altogether brilliant! I will definitely return- hopefully next year.

I had a fantastic timeThis was my first visit to Les Suites de l'Alpe and to a 50+ solo holiday. From the very start it was well organised and very friendly. Belinda made us feel very welcome and explained how things worked, from ski passes and buses, to paying for 13 different drinks in the mountain cafe! Immy, Rachel and Freya were very efficient and obliging, coping with all our different requests and late appearances. I very much enjoyed my vegetarian option, which had lots of variety and was filling and tasty. Overall I had a fantastic time skiing and staying at the chalet, thank you to all the hosts.

In a nutshell - fantastic!In a nutshell - fantastic! I stayed in Mont Blanc chalet within Les Suites de L'Alpe, and our group of 12 could not have asked to be looked after better by Freya, Rachel and Immy. The food was great, and complimentary wine and beer flowed freely throughout! Although I have none myself, I was impressed that all our group's dietary needs were accommodated so effortlessly. P.S. Anyone who worries the vegetarian dish (as part of the flexitarian concept) won't be nice, don't, it was absolutely delicious and such a great thing to encourage (those who opted out in favour of meat really missed out IMO!) The chalet itself was spotless, warm and cosy and very well located near a small supermarket and a fab ski hire place, and just over the road from a lift that whisked us right up to the mountains. The ESF ski guiding as part of our package was also brilliant - I not only learnt loads, but laughed out loud every day. Worth every penny and highly recommended! A special mention is deserved for Belinda too - a fabulous lady who I reckon could run an entire country with her eyes closed! She seems to knows everyone who matters in Les Gets. This was put to the test after I had a nightmare on arrival with badly delayed BA flights and lost luggage. Belinda stayed in touch and kept me sane. My bags (including skis) didn't arrive for 5 days, but Belinda sorted my ski hire and a few other things thanks to her contacts and provided a letter afterwards to support my insurance claim. And when my luggage was finally due to arrive in resort, she made sure it was received safely without me needing to miss time on the slopes. In summary, faultless service from the entire team who went the extra mile, provided lots of smiles, and made it a holiday to remember! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Would I go again? Absolutely yes!In past years we have filled a chalet with friends, but since our last trip in 2020 nothing has been organised, so at the very last minute myself and a couple of friends decided to try The Ski Gathering. It was a great holiday! In many ways it was more fun being with a bunch of random people of different ages, from different countries and backgrounds. Everyone got on well, due to Belinda's exceptional people skills, and, I guess, because people who are up for this sort of holiday are by nature open to meeting new people and are easy to get along with. We had a lot of laughs and some interesting conversations, which to my mind is what a holiday is all about. We kept 'bumping into' Belinda on the slopes and she would show us all the best places to go. She even hired a minibus to take us to different parts of the mountains (the snow was a bit thin when we went). Belinda loves skiing and loves people. She worked really hard to make sure everyone had a good time. Daisy and Grace, the chalet staff, looked after us very well, and we were all super impressed with the food. Would I go again? Absolutely yes!

...beyond my expectations!The Ski Gathering trip to Les Gets from which I just returned was fabulous! Food , lodging, people were all pleasantly surprising beyond my expectations! The options were always there if one wanted to ski a lot or a little. The meals provided fresh, healthy and / or decadent options. Lodging was situated in the center of everything… you almost fell out of bed into the lifts, shops, restaurants. Our trip lead Belinda was amazing!! She had every possible detail covered down to the very last bit, even for me who came from the US with a few travel complications. Les Gets attracts a great group of travelers as well. We were surprised we all gelled well around our love for skiing, travel and getting to know new people! Will definitely be back! ( btw, I am a plant-based eater and the options they afforded me were the best I have ever experienced on a trip!). Truly a special way to go on a holiday that did not even remotely disappoint!

...the best ever getaway optionThe Ski Gathering is such a unique concept and perhaps the best ever getaway option for skiers looking for somewhere they can ski with like minded folks. There were eleven of us in our chalet group who, over the course of the week, naturally found their skiing companions. We were well fed all week and although the rooms were rather small, there was plenty of space to mingle after a day on the slopes. The chalet staff did a good job serving meals and keeping us well supplied with tea, coffee and other drinks. Ski guiding (done unofficially) was great and even included a day trip to neighbouring Switzerland. Our leader, Belinda, knew all the best runs and best stopping places for coffee or lunch. I definitely got more out of the week thanks to her input. Would I return to another Ski Gathering? Yes, definitely!

An amazing holiday!An amazing holiday! I went on a solo beginners ski holiday with The Ski Gathering and it was a fantastic way to the start the year. Everything was organized very wellThe Ski Gathering Week was such a blast. The organization and the days leading up to the trip went swimmingly. The Ski Gathering team was very helpful, responsive to all questions, kept me informed of everything I need to know to help me better prepare for the trip. The ski week itself was beyond amazing. Everyone in the group was lovely - and I ended the trip with new found friends. Belinda is stellar - ensuring that everything ran smoothly, providing everything that you need especially with regard to ski lessons and even matching you with the perfect instructor that can make you progress quickly. Immie, Freya and the rest of the team in the chalet merit a special acknowledgment as well. I had a fantastic weekI have just returned from a week in Les Gets with ski gathering. I stayed in chalet de alpe as a solo traveller and I had a fantastic week. Belinda was great and really went the extra mile in ensuring everyone had what they needed to have a great time. The chalet hosts Freya and immie were amazing! Very friendly yet professional throughout and provided outstanding meals and cakes. I would 100% recommendI had an amazing time on the solo beginners Ski Gathering trip to Les Gets. I shall certainly be returning!I have just returned from my first trip with The Ski Gathering and had a fantastic time! I was a little apprehensive about what to expect, but Belinda's warm welcome on arrival soon put me at ease. The chalet was cosy and immaculate and our three chalet maids (Daisy, Fiona and Kati) looked after us so well. The food was plentiful and all delicious: a range of breakfast options in the morning (both hot and cold), a lovely afternoon tea waiting for us when we came off the mountain and wonderful evening meals prepared by the chef and the chalet maids. The chalet has unlimited wine and beer and we certainly enjoyed sampling the varieties available... Belinda arranged restaurant reservations for us on the two nights the staff had off and both meals were lovely - the fondue restaurant was a particular highlight of the trip. We also enjoyed the great restaurants she recommended on the slopes, along with the much anticipated trip to La Folie Douce. A wonderful trip and I shall certainly be returning!

I loved every single second!Had the best week with Ski Gathering in Les Gets!! Belinda our group leader/coordinator was astonishing. No task was ever too big, she really cares about your experience and wants to make sure each and every person is happy constantly and enjoying themselves. She also gave great suggestions on how to spend our days where to go, where to eat, so you barely have to even think! The chalet hosts (Fiona, Daisy and Kati) were super lovely! They were really fun hosts to have, very accomodating and very talented chefs! The food was incredible!! Catered to everyone's dietary needs, delicious, healthy and really hit the spot after a full day out on the slopes. You also always came home to a nice afternoon tea waiting for you labeled with different dietary needs to ensure you got the correct snack. If you're someone who loves snow sports but you don't have anyone to go with - book yourself a ski gathering tour! You'll meet wonderful like minded people, stay in a gorgeous little chalet, eat amazing food every night, ski/snowboard over the most magnificent views and laugh your way through an incredible week! Will definitely be returning! I loved every single second!

Go for it!This was my second Ski Gathering holiday and just like the first time, was fantastic. Lovely, likeminded, fun and interesting people who are up for good chats, laughs and exploring the mountain. Belinda and the chalet team could not do enough to help - something I needed a lot of as my suitcase was lost on arrival at Geneva. Belinda made what was really stressful and upsetting a hell of a lot less stressful and upsetting! Food was great, the whole holiday just felt like a massive treat. I'll be booking another Ski Gathering before the season is out, I cannot recommend enough for solo travellers, friends or couples. Ski holidays come alive when you're in a big group. Go for it!

I can't recommend Ski Gathering holidays enoughI can't recommend Ski Gathering holidays enough. I'm just back from my third Ski Gathering holiday and had a fantastic time. The chalet was cosy and perfectly located. The chalet hosts couldn't have been more accommodating and gave us everything we needed. Belinda was so helpful and knew all the best pistes and mountain restaurants. The food was great, with good variety and they even treated us to a four course Christmas meal. In my experience Ski Gathering holidays attract very like minded people- those who love the mountains and skiing, are easy going and friendly and love messing around in the snow. I'll be back later in the season for my fourth Ski Gathering holiday!

I had a great timeI had a great time in Les Gets with The Ski Gathering. The chalet accommodation was 2 minutes across the road from the nearest ski lift which was perfect. The chalet hosts looked after us like royalty and the food prepared and served was delicious and plentiful. If only I could have eaten it all! The solo format is convenient and everyone in our chalet was friendly, easy going and we all got along really well. I shared a room which was cosy and had most things needed. It could have done with a bit more storage as I don't travel light and there was a tumble dryer and boot storage downstairs which was needed after a really wet and rainy day. The large hot tub was ace and helped the aches and pains. We often went out as a group and discovered miles of pistes with Belinda who knows all the right places to ski, eat and to find the magical bombardinos ;-). If you're on your own, with a friend or partner this format is perfect. Everyone who's there wants to ski or board and you'll more than likely find someone to ski with and then hit the bars or restaurants after also. The range of ages will obviously vary on each trip and myself being a bit of an old boy didn't stop me fitting in with the whipper snappers and we all had quite a laugh. So, overall I'd highly recommend a holiday like this and wouldn't hesitate to book again, thanks Ski Gathering.

I had an absolutely fab weekI had an absolutely fab week filled with great skiing, scrumptious food, enthusiastic dancing, terrible singing and most of all, endless laughter! The booking procedure was easy and stress-free with Jana and Ashleigh. Belinda was very helpful with the transfer details and basically all the important nitty gritty stuff during our whole stay. My first impression was Thoma's warm smiley welcome and his promptness to handle my luggage. The food was delicious, Thoma and Liam were brilliant and super friendly. And what a lovely group to be a part of! Such fun company to have throughout the stay, it was sad Good-byes at the end. The chalet is in a beautiful peaceful setting and is attractive, comfy and cosy. It was really lovely to have fantastic skiing instructors taking such good care of us on the slopes, a very big thank you to Arthur and Fafa! I will definitely see you next season!Just spent a brilliant week at Les Suites de L'Alpe in Les Gets hosted by Montagne & Tradition / Ski Gathering. The skiing, accommodation and food were all excellent. But what sets this holiday apart from the rest are the people who run it. Jana and Ashleigh did a great job of booking me in last minute. Then the amazing Belinda who went out of her way to make sure we were well looked after during the trip - arranging hires, lessons, food, transfers as well as skiing and socialising with us. And Thomas and Liam back at the chalet made sure to keep the food, drink and laughs rolling. A massive thank you to all for a wonderful holiday. My legs need a rest now after all that skiing (and dancing) but I will definitely see you next season!

I will definitely be back!I had a wonderful 2 weeks at Chalets de L'Alp in Les Gets (booked via the Ski Gathering) where we were well looked after by Belinda and the M&T team. Belinda went above and beyond to ensure the holiday was a success and an enjoyable time was had by all. I wasn't completely sure what to expect but can say that my experience far surpassed any expectations that I may have had. The skiing, the food, the accommodation and the company were all fantastic. Thank-you Thoma, Liam, Lisa and Hannah for your hospitality, hard work and humour. You made sure we were well looked after and always with a splash of charm! I will definitely be back!

I will definitely be back!I spent years not going skiing because I couldn't get anyone to go with me, then found out about the Ski Gathering, have been on 2 of these now. I definitely recommend it for anyone considering skiing/boarding as a solo. You have a ready made group of likeminded people to spend time both on the slopes and off. Age and ability does't matter, everything can be organised by TSG, equipment hire, lessons, food, transfers, social time, if you've been thinking about it, then do it, you won't regret it. Belinda is a great host and seems to know everyone in Les Gets, great source of information and will help you if you get stuck with anything. Don't worry if you can't ski/board, the lessons will fix you in no time, literally after my second gathering, I'm doing jumps!!

All in all a lovely breakFrom the moment of arrival in Les Gets you know that M&T are going to look after you. We were met in the apartment by Thomas who was to be our host for the week and he immediately set about making us feel welcome. Thomas was on hand for breakfast every morning, cake and sandwiches every afternoon and dinner nearly every night.. I guess he should be allowed 'some' time off... The food is excellent, centrally prepared but finished and plated by Thomas to a very high standard. Beer wine and soft drinks are all included (they will even provide tonic so make sure you stock up on gin on the way over in the duty free. The location of the apartment is extremely handy for the main lift (just a short walk across the road) and the ski hire shop (and ski locker) is right beneath the apartment. The only downside of the location is the proximity to the bars but after a few tiring days on the slopes we stopped noticing. Everyone at M&T Les Gets are helpful. Belinda sorted out our ski hire and was on hand on evening 1 for questions and orientation, Ashleigh, Liam and Emma also leant a hand when needed. All in all a lovely break, with a lovely company in a lovely location.

...will definitely go againI had a fantastic trip to Morzine, my first with Ski Gathering, and will definitely go again. They were so accommodating and communicative regarding all the the arrangements, and Kath and Tim - our chalet hosts - were an absolute delight. I arrived very late at the chalet, after everyone else was in bed, and they were not just up but welcomed me and offered me food; that first night and throughout the trip the food always had a good vegetarian option and was a very high standard - the raspberry souffle was incredible. I've skied many, many times and never stayed anywhere with no specified check-out time, so on my last day, before a late return flight, I had a full day on the slopes before going back for freshly baked cake, a sauna, a shower and finishing my packing, with full access to the room. (The room was spacious - with four beds and only three of us in there - comfortable and clean, though the bathroom is very tiny!), The transfers were in very small groups by minibus and the ski gear I hired was brought to the chalet during breakfast on the first day and collected after my departure - again, maximum convenience and ski time. The chalet is on the ski bus route, right by the bus stop in both directions, and on the night when we ate in town it was a 30-min walk - lovely to do when you're not carrying skis. As I say, I'll definitely be back, either here to to try another Ski Gathering location.

...looking forward to booking againSuch a good organization. Everything was taken care of. Communication before the trip was clear, no surprises, very friendly and helpful. The only handicap is the airport wait once you arrive, but that is due to the overload of transfers and different arrival times of people in different groups. I doubt ski gathering can do anything to fix this specifically. In any case, I am looking forward to booking again and meeting some great people next year!

A brilliant company and serviceA brilliant company and service. Claire was very helpful with organising transfers, ski passes, ski hire and in general helpful information. The accommodation was comfortable, it was a chalet with shared rooms and chalet hosts who were lovely. A small group of 12 which was a good group size with a big variety of people some there for the skiing first out and last back and some for a leisurely ski and apres ski parties. It worked out well that we split in to groups for skiing for different abilities. I would go again!

It's just perfect!The staff working for The Ski Gathering significantly exceeded expectations in terms of support, from the booking process right through to in resort service. Lisa and Hannah were excellent chalet hosts, friendly, accommodating and very flexible. Belinda was fantastic in providing those extra touches that really make a holiday (booking restaurants, taking time out to act as a ski guide on two afternoons etc). The food (and the drink) was excellent and plentiful and the chalet ideally located to provide the perfect balance between convenience and peace and quiet. Les Gets as a ski resort was fantastic and all the staff supporting the provision of on piste services were very friendly. Certainly an experience I will recommend to friends!

It's just perfect!Highly recommended. The chalet hosts Lisa and Hannah were extremely welcoming & professional & were very accommodating should there be any changes in dietary requirements. The food was amazing & plenty of it so you'd never go hungry. Everything apart from flights were organised by the ski gathering so there was no need to research companies for transfers / ski lessons, etc. Belinda who I believe overseas several of the chalet accommodations was absolutely lived & extremely helpful in recommending places to eat & even booking tables for us for any days where meals are not included. She even went above & beyond to take us out a few days in the week skiing showing us new routes & giving any tips to help improve our skiing abilities. Can't rate this company enough. It was a truly magical holiday.

... had the most wonderful experiences as a solo travelerI have used The Ski Gathering for the past 3 years and have had the most wonderful experiences as a solo traveler every visit. The accommodations are always immaculate with wonderful facilities and the staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. The breakfast (eggs cooked to order) and the 3 course dinners are cooked fresh in the chalet and the food is always lovely. There is wine included, as well as after dinner cheese with digestifs. A particular nice touch is the freshly baked cakes or cookies that await at the end of every day on the slopes. The groups of people have always been extremely friendly and provide great company for those less confident in exploring the slopes by themselves or looking for a challenge. It is well worth getting the full access ski pass to take advantage of the huge area of skiing available. In 3 years there are still many slopes that I've yet to fully explore and it is a wonderful area for skiers and boarders of all levels. All extras (transfers, gear, lift passes) can be organised directly with The Ski Gathering and this ensures that the entire holiday is managed in the easiest way possible. The staff are always available and very knowledgable about the area.

... they continue to raise the bar!A great week with the Ski Gathering (aka Host Savoie) in Morzine (Feb 11th-18th), at Chalet Ardoisiers. I've stayed with these guys a few times over the last 7-8 years and they continue to raise the bar! Very nice spacious chalet, convenient for the ski bus and a short walk into town in the evenings. Food was prepared to a high standard and some nice touches like pre-dinner drinks and cheese & port later in the evening. Also, the pre-trip details were all taken care of very efficiently (re transfers, ski passes, ski hire etc).

I will do this again!Just returned from a Christmas week at Chalet Ardoisiere with Host Savoie - having booked similar holidays previously with other providers I knew what to expect in practical terms. From the start however the Host Savoie team handled matters differently, keeping in contact from booking date to arrival, which was reassuring and professional. I understand how apprehensive solo skiers are but Host Savoie did everything subtly to encourage confidence and communication in its residents prior to the holiday. Airport transfers were the most efficient I have experienced and booking ski passes/equipment felt like a luxury personal service! The chalet was immaculate and spacious, conveniently located by the ski bus stop and close to the town centre. The chalet team Jo ans Zak couldn't do enough for us and were welcomed as extra group members - their professionalism and maturity was noteworthy compared to the stereotypical Seasonaire - they were clearly hired for their interest in the job role rather than for a seasonal ski pass! Not only did Zak the chef make mince pies on Christmas day - he made the mincemeat from scratch, whilst Jo still managed to clean up the chalet on departure day even though we were under her feet for most of the day! My ski group were a bunch of like minded solo skiers - well matched personality-wise and ability-wise on the slopes. Despite conditions not being perfect, time spent off the slopes was as enjoyable as on thankfully.. Host Savoie have created the perfect business model for solo skiers - attention to detail, alleviating solo skiers nerves and catering for the needs of solo skiers without penalizing us with a price tag!

FantasticThe Alpine Lodge is very well situated in location less than 5 minutes from the town of Les Gets. The accommodation is very comfortable and very airy and bright. The food is excellent especially the selection of meat dishes specially prepared by their master chef, they also cater for the flexitarian providing good choices of non meat meals. The best thing about the Alpine Lodge is the level off service provided by Belinda, who goes above and beyond to make your stay flawless and relaxing. Belinda has an excellent team of chalet staff who cater for your every need. Brendan was great to have to help in the chalet however his ability to ski could be taken into question.

Fantastic chalet in a great locationThe Alpine Loft is a quality chalet with a good sized room and en-suite. Its only 5mins to the main chairlift and ski hire shops. it was the staff that made it a great experience though. they are very welcoming, enthusiastic and (importantly!) served great food - big thanks especially to Mary for looking after us.

The Alpine LodgeBeautiful chalet, just 5 minutes walk from the main ski lift. Luxurious modern interior, excellent food and warm, helpful staff ( Belinda, Emma and Rachel). Prebooking of ski passes and equipment smoothed our way on the first morning. Would highly recommend.

The Alpine lodge les getsThis chalet is faultless from room quality to service. The crew was belinda, George, Emily, Tulula and Raphael so many thanks to you all. The foods was amazing like a 5 star london restaurant and presented by Raphael. The location to the nearest ski lift is just 5 minute walk or the bus stops right out side the chalet which then takes less than a minuite. The chalet is very modern with a very nice shower in each room and beds comfortable and clean. Absolutely will be using again thanks again to you all

Alpine loftJust got back from a fab week staying at the Alpine Loft in Les Gets. A great chalet, a great location and great host which were always on hand to help, nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to Ashleigh for helping with transfers, ski hire and booking places for us to have lunch and dinner. Marie our host was amazing top class food and drink. Thanks to Belinda and all the team for helping to make our trip so enjoyable, we will definitely book again.

A review of the reviewsHaving recently returned from Alpine Lodge I sat down to write a review. The first thing I noticed was a 100% Excellent review rating, when do you ever see that I thought? So I read them all. We as individuals naturally have different expectations, reviews can and will reflect this and sometimes we have to read between the lines. No lines to read between here! I was struck by the amazing attention to detail, the naming of many individuals, the quality and sheer length of some reviews which must be every recipients dream. Without exception I can truthfully say I totally and wholeheartedly agree with every single word said. I could have cut and pasted every single one and simply said ditto. Total credit to Team Alpine Lodge, once a guest always a guest, would not stay anywhere…

A culinary delight! First class accommodationJust returned from a short break in Les Gets staying at the Alpine Lodge. Great accommodation, so comfortable, delicious food. Our hostess Belinda was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Being served drinks whilst in the hot tub was a real treat. The food was first class, especially the canapés before dinner. Loved the Chefs description of the food being served each evening. Everyone's dietary requirements were well catered for. Loved the freshly chopped fruit with breakfast and the smell of warm croissants welcoming us every morning. Such a comfortable bed, loved the wardrobe light, activated by the sliding door and the electronic window blind. A great ski break. Les Gets and the Alpine Lodge will be at the top of my list for a return trip! A big thank you to all the staff for making our trip so perfect!

Once again a fantastic experienceThis was my second visit to the Alpine Lodge and it lived up to expectations. The food is always prepared to an exceptional standard and the hosting is attentive and feels tailored to your needs. The spotlessly clean chalet is well located a short walk from town and the lifts. The communal space is a good size, with enough space for all guests to relax. Thanks to Belinda and the team for helping to make my trip so enjoyable. The fact all the guests were talking about a return visit speaks volumes.

Fantastic accommodation with superb hostsPerfect for a stay within walking distance to the ski lifts. Very well looked after by the chalet hosts, particularly Belinda. Get spoilt with great food, including afternoon tea. Accommodation itself is modern, clean and spacious. Option of having transfers, ski passes, ski hire and lessons all arranged pre-arrival made the trip even more hassle-free.

Superb accommodation, first class service, brilliant hostsThird return visit to Alpine lodge, the best got better didn't think it was possible but it did.Fantastic welcoming staff who have great personalities who ensure a fun and friendly atmosphere. First class cuisine from Raph in the evening and an excellent selection of wines beers and cocktails served by Belinda, Harrison and Kara, Australia day evening was fun. Look no further!If you're looking for incredible welcoming staff, delicious food cooked in house, comfortable accommodation and a lovely atmosphere to go with your stay in Les Gets especially for skiing, I'd recommend staying here. I stayed here for a week and had the best ski trip I have ever had thanks to the staff, location and whole package provided. You won't be disappointed and it's just a short walk to the ski lifts and local bars and restaurants (if you still want them after the excellent food!).

Top Banana!Another great short break at The Alpine Lodge would be perfect if you could ski in but a little walk to warm up or cool down those legs - no harm. The good life!Booked the Ski Gathering Solo's with Guide week which ran from 19th to 26th March 2022. I was originally booked in January but due to Covid but was moved with no hassle to March. Jana was amazing in making this work considering the nightmare it must have been. Arrived at the Les Suites and greeted by very friendly Belinda, who showed me to the suite (Mont Blanc) room 2. It was a comfortable room with all of my requests taken into account. (Could it have been cleaner?, yes! but I have extremely high standards and therefore take this comment lightly) Belinda was certainly attentive with all the guests, making sure we had everything we needed, arranging lift passes, restaurant bookings and even the lunch bookings in the mountains for each of the days. We certainly felt very looked after. The food was amazing each night and served by either Lisa, Hannah or Racheal. The were very pleasant young ladies with a lot on their plate and looking after 12 hungry people was no easy task but they did it with a certain style. My dietary needs we accommodated very well, and I did not feel like a nuisance, which was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed coming back to the chalet after a hard days skiing to find a cute little note with a specially made sandwich with my name on it!.. That's the sort of thing that makes a holiday. The organisation of this company is second to none, communication was excellent. I communicated with Zoé and Ashleigh and once again i felt like the only client. Nothing was too much trouble. As with all places there are always a few niggly things that could have been done better, but did it take away from the other excellence?..... i'd say not. All in all a great holiday.

Warm, welcoming and attentiveOur group had a brilliant time at Chalet Panda. Jill was really easy to communicate with and the whole process was smooth and simple. Our stay was excellent with top class food made from amazing, friendly hosts (Jan and Jana). We would definitely return and highly recommend. We also loved the ski resort. Overall an amazing holiday.

FabulousStayed here for a week skiing in February. Fabulous location in the heart of the village but only 5 minute walk to the gondola. Despite being so central was still quiet in the evenings. Fabulous room which was beautifully decorated. The staff were all great and very attentive. Great food and a lovely selection of vegetarian dishes. The only thing that let our stay down was the fact that the boot room was mostly left open even locked open one day which could be easily accessed by anyone. This was off putting when storing ski boots and skis. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and gorgeous in decor.

Excellent StayStayed for one week in Feb 2022. Outstanding from day one to the last. Good location in the heart of town. 5 min walk to the central ski bus terminal and 10 mins walk to the nearest ski lift ( City Express bubble) On the first night I mentioned that I don't eat pork, after that whenever there was pork, bacon or ham as a menu item, They always presented an alternative. Sign of a class establishment. The staff at breakdast and dinner were fabulous. Food was superb. With a four course dinner each evening. Would highly reccomend the Heitzmann. btw Zell Am See is stuning place overall.

Small, friendly & charming hotel with excellent staffJust back from a great week in Zell am See staying in Hotel Heitzmann. It's a lovely with very friendly staff who really went out of their way to give us an excellent stay. The place is very clean and well looked after. Location wise it's spot on, being a few hundred meters from the main lift & bus stop, and just at the edge of the village centre with all the shops and bars right there. The food is incredible. I'd not paid much attention to the meals when I booked, and was wonderfully surprised to get an amazing 5-course dinner every night! The experience could not have been better. Highly recommend :)

Charming Family-run Hotel in a perfect locationHotel Heitzmann is a wonderful little hotel right in the centre of Zell am See. Location is perfect, about 2 mins walk from the lift & bus station, with the bars and restaurants starting about 30m from the door. The staff were the biggest attribute. The small, friendly team really went out of their way to make you feel welcome and sort anything we needed. We saw the same faces every day and they'd took the time to get to know us. Food is absolutely excellent. 5 courses every night, with the added bonus of being catered all 7 nights of the stay. I cannot recommend Hotel Heitzmann enough. Thanks so much to Rudi & his team for a very memorable week.

Absolutely wonderfulI can't recommend this hotel highly enough. The rooms are very clean, warm and spacious with plenty of storage. We had an adjoining room which was noisy unfortunately but that was due to our neighbours rather than the hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful and hard working; special mention to Kurt who was extremely kind. I had a skiing accident during my stay and the staff couldn't have done more to help - offering ice, calling the hospital, arranging taxis and translating complex terminology for doctors back home. It was very much appreciated at a very difficult time. The hotel is well located in the town and is a 5 minute walk to the nearest ski lift and ski bus at Post Platz. Bars, shops, kit rental and restaurants are a few steps from the front door which creates a lively and friendly atmosphere and the beautiful lake is a 10 minute stroll. The boot room in the basement can be reached by the internal lift which is very handy. Finally, the food is tremendous - a generous choice at breakfast with cooked options and a wonderful 4 course meal each night. The bar area is also very welcoming. I loved this place and hope to return very soon. Thank you again to Team Heitzmann.

The food is first class and vegetarians are also catered for with 5 course dinners and substantial breakfasts.The staff are really friendly and helpful and the hotel is spotless. A jemJust back on Saturday 12th Jan 2019 after a weeks skiing holiday. The Heitzmann is a lovely hotel with great staff. Enjoyed our stay. Small bar which closes at 12.00pm. Food was to a high standard. The resort is very pretty one of the nicest ski report's I've been. Tooooo much snow but then again that's outwith anyone's control. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel with fantastic serviceJust returned from a 5 day ski trip. Comfortable rooms and every member of staff were really friendly and welcoming. Great to relax in the sauna, although I wasn't brave enough to use the pool (too cold). Great little bar. Loved the balcony with views of Mont Blanc and a delicious continental breakfast.

Lovely HotelAs usual we were met with a warm welcome. The facilities at this hotel are really good. The service is excellent and the breakfast is good. The hotel is about 100mtrs or so from the small village ski slope which is a great way to get your ski legs. For the more adventurous skier there is easy transport provided by the hotel to and from the hotel. This is a lovely hotel which is in a lovely ski village but not far away from the bigger town of Chamonix. The decor and rooms are nice.. my only minus point is that the single beds are a bit narrow, but not a major problem. Once again Many Thanks to Hotel du Bois for a very enjoyable stay.

A friendly welcoming hotel with good facilities.I visited in January 2019 for a few days skiing. The staff are friendly and helpful and all speak English. The hotel is attractively and interesting, the rooms are well decorated, clean and comfortable. I had a room with a view of the mountains. There is an comfortable well stocked bar with a fire. A pleasant place to sit. The restaurant has a small but varied menu with a daily set menu that is particularly good value. The food fresh, hot and delicious. Altogether the service was excellent. A courtesy bus to the ski lift and back, morning and afternoon. I'd thoroughly recommend it, and will plan to visit again. And there's a swimming pool-which looks fine, although I didn't use it myself.

Ski Gathering trip to ChamonixReally great holiday last week skiing in Chamonix with the Ski Gathering. Our group of six strangers were booked into Hotel du Bois for the week. It's been a long time since I experienced such great personal hospitality, warmth and friendliness. Skiing was excellent, helped by great conditions and great new friends made on the trip. But the holiday was enhanced massively through the quality of the service we received at the hotel. Food was excellent as was the advice on ski locations and runs. The shuttle bus was a great asset also. I had a bad fall on the last day and ruptured my ACL. The hotel staff really helped at the hospital and in recovering my skis. Special thanks to Aurora and Jean Marc.

I shall definitely returnMy 2nd visit which says it all! I received a very warm welcome from Belinda. I don't know how she does it but by the end of the first day she knew all our names (all 18 of us). She looked after everyone in her usual way throughout the week. For me the most important thing she did was pair me with my favourite ski instructor. Emma and Jed and all the chalet staff were brilliant serving up delicious meals and cleaning up our mess. Emma and Jed also helped me out with which lifts and ski runs to take as I get lost coming out of a shop and needed extra reassurance. Once again the whole experience was wonderful and I shall definitely return.

would thoroughly recommend this holidaySki Gathering holiday in Les Gets are amazing, thanks to Belinda and her team of Emma,Jed, Georgia and Ava. From start to finish, they work tirelessly to make the holiday special for everyone, both on and off the piste. I went on a 50+ week and it was great fun with the rest of the group. I will definitely be back for a thirdThe Ski Gathering is a fantastic way to get out on the slopes and ski with new people. If you need a ski-buddy (because you're having to travel solo), this is where to find one! The chalets bring together small groups of like minded individuals (by age, by ability, whatever), providing company for the slopes, company for apres ski and lively dinner companions. My week in Suites de l'Alpes in Les Gets (January 7th-14th) was amazing! Plenty of space to socialise, whether in the hot tub, the sauna or the lounge. Thanks to the chalet team of Emma, Belen, Kiki and Amy we were very well fed. At least one of them deserves to be on Bake Off - a Paul Hollywood handshake would surely follow! Our host Belinda made sure everything ran smoothly, from an intro to the slopes on day 1 and a couple of side trips to other resorts during the week. This was my second visit and I will definitely be back for a third.

Could not recommend highly enoughJust had a great 4 night break with Ski Gathering in Les Gets at the Alpine Loft. As well as easy booking, they can sort out transfers, lift passes, (would have liked to have been given piste map as well) and ski hire, (he'll even deliver). E-mail queries were quickly answered by Ashleigh. I was met on arrival by Belinda, who also saw me off with breakfast at 06:30 on day of leaving. Emily was great as Chalet host. The food and afternoon cakes were amazing. Chalet was clean, tidy and comfortable, though the beam in my room could do with padding, you know it's there but you'll still hit your head on it. The boot room would benefit from having a ski/snowboard rack of some sort. I would definitely book with them again.

I highly recommend these guysI've been to Morzine and stayed with the Ski Gathering at Chalet Claude twice (2017 and 2019), and Chelet Chery once (2018). They have excellent properties and offer good value for money for people who are travelling solo (sometimes it's difficult to get people to come skiing with you when you want to). The staff are friendly and highly professional. Generally speaking things run smoothly. The manager/owner who runs the business takes a keen hands on interest in making sure every customer is well taken care of. If you want a catered chalet ski trip to Morzine and Portes du Soleil I highly recommend these guys. I'm hoping to return yet again next season!

What a great concept!I have stayed in quite a few chalets in and around Morzine. In every respect, The Ski Gathering comes among the top choices. The biggest benefit was the company of other guests. What a great concept!

Could not recommend highly enoughI've just done two back to back weeks with The Ski Gathering over Christmas and New Year and the whole journey was absolutely brilliant. On both weeks I've met people who I'd like to keep in my life forever, the food was divine and the hosts and staff were exceptional in every way. Special mention to Emily, our first week's chalet girl - WOW, she's amazing. I'll be back again and again. Communication was excellent in the organisation phase as I was travelling from Australia and it gave me confidence that I was with a company that looks after it's customers at the highest level. Could not recommend highly enough.

I would recommendJust returned from a fantastic week with ski gathering. The chalet was excellent, the team lead by Andy were brilliant. The food was superb, compliments to George for the variation in the meals and rather nice birthday cake. I would recommend staying with ski gathering to anyone, having brought together a group of people as solo travellers.
