The chalet benefits from South and East facing balconies as well as panoramic windows. Fifty metres from the bus stop, you can be at the Pleney or Super Morzine bubble lifts within two minutes. When you return, head for the sauna, grab a drink by the fire, or head to the upstairs den where you can get a bit of down time or catch that unmissable season finale on UK TV. Hosted by Host Savoie, this chalet is spacious and welcoming. Make yourself at home.
The chalet is situated just two minutes from the nearest bar, ten minutes easy walk to the village centre and just 50m from the free shuttle bus stop where you can catch both lines P and U which run regularly. Either of these will take you to Super Morzine in just a couple of minutes or Pleney in 5 minutes.
The chalet can accommodate up to 10 guests, in the comfort of its 5 bedrooms. There are three twins and a triple room, which are all ensuite, plus one budget single room which has a separate downstairs bathroom.
We have deliberately left some beds empty to give you more room to spread out. Although Chalet Chez Claude has 13 bed spaces, we are accepting a maximum of 10 guests, meaning more room for everyone in bedrooms and communal areas, and no queuing for the shower.
This chalet has an indoor sauna to ease those aching muscles after a long day on the slopes. When you're feeling suitably rested, head for the honesty bar and grab yourself a drink. Sit by the fire, or catch up with life back home in the separate upstairs TV area. There is free wifi throughout and an iPod dock for all to use.
Up on the first floor you will find the cosy living/dining area, where you can relax in comfy chairs and sofa in front of the beautiful log burning stove, or if you prefer you can head upstairs to the mezzanine to watch a movie on the flat-screen TV or catch up on your favourite shows. There are two dining tables that between them can seat all guests comfortably.
What better way to finish the day's skiing than to enjoy a refreshing drink and good company on a sun-kissed Alpine terrace? Drink in the views to the south and east — the towering presence of the Pointe de Nyon, and the snow-sure summits above neighbouring Avoriaz.

Morzine is part of the larger Portes Du Soleil ski area. There are two lift pass options available: "Local Area" (Les Gets and Morzine) and "Full Area" (all 12 Portes Du Soleil resorts). The local area pass is usually sufficient for beginner skiers. The full area pass is better suited to experienced skiers and boarders looking to explore and cover more ground. Please note, the local area pass does not include access to Avoriaz.

If you are flying to Morzine or Les Gets then we would highly recommend you fly into Geneva (GVA) airport. Geneva airport is 73 kilometres from Morzine or Les Gets and has a transfer time of about one hour ten minutes. A lot of this is on motorway. This is the route almost everyone who flies in takes.
Lyon (LYS) airport is 199 kilometres from Morzine or Les Gets but It is usually better to avoid Lyon if possible as there are far fewer transfer options available.
Please let us know when you have booked your flights and we can arrange to have your transfers all ready and waiting for you when you land. We do not charge extra for organising this for you.
