Features

  • Starlink WiFi
  • Balcony with Views
  • Boot Warmers
  • Up to 8 Guests

Location

Chalet Myrtille is situated in Montchavin - La Plagne, at the foot of the Les Coches Telecabine lift. Directly across from the chalet, you'll find the Evolution 2 ski school, a ski rental shop, and a lively bar offering live-music - Ideal for Apres-Ski. The heart of Montchavin is only a minute's walk away, featuring a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants, a cinema, and a swimming pool complex. Unlike some of the more purpose-built ski resorts of La Plagne, Montchavin has a much more traditional feel, reminiscent of an alpine village.

Bedrooms

Sleeping up to 11 guests across 5 stylish ensuite bedrooms, the chalet features a first floor quad room with twin beds, a bunk bed and bathroom. The remaining rooms are all twins (and can be made as double) with ensuite shower rooms and fitted wardrobes.

Facilities

Myrtille has a super view, with an open living/dining area and kitchen that overlooks the village, Tarentaise Valley and Mont Blanc. Alongside a cosy log fire, there's also a balcony and roof top hot tub for you to enjoy a drink while you take in the views and atmosphere.

On the ground floor, there is a secure ski locker and heated boot warmers, as well as hanging space for all your ski clothing.

Live music at the bar

Myrtille is situated right opposite a popular local bar. The perfect place to meet up after a long day on the slopes, or even to congregate after dinner. Every Thursday (when the chalet staff have a night off) they host a popular live music night, it's also a great spot for live sport.

Incredibly liberating!Fun 5 day with like minded souls sharing delicious breakfasts, teas (omi, the cakes...) and dinners in this linked group of apartments in Les Gets. The chalet staff were adorable and patient with us constantly being in their way and asking questions. Belinda (The Pirate Queen) was a wonderful rep and organised us into skiing groups of equal ability without offending any of us and nothing was too much trouble for her. Booking restaurants, taxis, taking us on adventures to Switzerland. She has boundless energy. The town is gorgeous - not too big but has everything you need. I heartily recommend to anyone wanting a ski trip on their own - incredibly liberating! x

A marvellous holidayAccommodation 'snug' - otherwise fine. Food - outstanding. Chalet girls - brilliant. Location - good for the lift BUT too far from centre to enjoy apres immediately after skiing. Belinda - 'fountain of knowledge' without which the collective chalet guests may of floundered! Pool/hot tub/sauna - great. BUT! being whilst I can afford such a wonderful ski holiday I am retired and as such I am obliged to 'look after my pennies!' For this reason I feel The Ski Gathering have let me down on the not ensuring that keeping costs are advantageous to the client and NOT SG. ie:- Without'digging' up comparables over this week it materialised that:- Average SG transfer was about 130 Euros. Whilst mine (Easy bus) was about 60! Suggested SG private lesson about 175. Whilst ESF private lesson was 120! SG also suggested that restaurants, taxis, general ski lessons, massages, etc. which I feel may also need to be reevaluated! So-I repeat a marvellous holiday but SG have in my humble opinion a responsibility to ensure their guests receive 'best-value'!!

I'm looking forward to going again. My friend Nikki and I had a wonderful skiing holiday in Les Gets, hosted by Belinda, Amy, Hannah and Emma of The Ski Gathering. The resort has wonderful slopes, the weather was excellent in March and we were very well looked after. Excellent food and Belinda enthusiastically took care of all our requirements, I would highly recommend this holiday, it was my second visit and I'm looking forward to going again.

Everything exceeded my expectations.First time skiing solo, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The resort, the people — everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were fantastic, the food was above average, and for one of the more budget-friendly options, it was incredible value. Made some great friends along the way, and I'll definitely be back.

Highly recommend and will be back again!Great solo travel trip with The Ski Gathering/Host Savoie, it's a brilliant concept for solos/couples/small groups who can't fill a whole chalet. The week we were in was the budget week, so no afternoon tea (which I would have liked to have seen included), but the food was good in the evenings and at breakfast. Everything you need in a chalet in Morzine plus the bus stop just outside. Highly recommend and will be back again!

I cannot rate it enough! This year Feb 2025 was my 3rd time ever doing a solo trip with The Ski Gathering. I cannot rate it enough! The locations are great, but for me, the option of them sorting out ABSOLUTELY everything (minus booking of flights), is why I'll keep using them as a ski holiday provider. The chalets are lovely, the meals provided are great, the ease of contacting (and response) is second to none. Pricing is super competitive also. Definitely looking forward to booking for ski seasons to come :-)

I could not have asked for a better experienceHands down one of if not the best ski trips I have ever been on. Having only stayed in hostels with friends on previous trips I had no idea what to expect from a hosted chalet let alone as part of a solo trip with Ski Gathering. This surpassed all I could have envisioned. The chalet was beautiful, spacious, well stocked and homely. Our host Holly was warm, welcoming, down to earth and fun. She catered to our every need with genuine passion and pride. The chalet was spotless, food exquisite and beverages constantly topped up. As 15 solo travelers Holly and the team engaged with us all equally, easing us in and helping us acquaint with each other. Holly was knowledgeable of the area and any questions she couldn't answer she went out of her way to remedy. The group themselves were amazing and fun and I have already recommended this trip to many of my friends and I would return in a heartbeat as others in the group already had. I could not have asked for a better experience, host or team. It says a lot that we had so much fun as a group that we preferred to hang out all together and at the chalet rather than venture off and do our own things, even on the hosts nights off. I am truly beyond grateful for the experience and for having met and spent time with them all.

One of the best weeks of my life! From the moment I first spoke to Jana to saying goodbye to Belinda, the whole week has been nothing but incredible! I've never experienced such unbelievable service from a team, incl the hosts in the chalet. I was v anxious about trying this type of holiday out for the first time but I had nothing to worry about. We had the best bunch of people & the skiing was off the scale thanks to our host Belinda guiding us. I can't thank you all enough for one of the best weeks of my life! Esp celebrating my 50th b'day & the attention to detail. A special thank you to Belinda, who is nothing but an amazing humble human being!! I will be back
